Calgary Gets Caught Reading

The Calgary Public Library’s Street Reading Teams were armed with prizes and ready to “catch and reward” Calgarians who were reading on the CTrain in the downtown core. The street reading teams were composed of Calgary Public Library and Calgary Transit staff, including Transit Teddy, the Calgary Stampeders’ Henry Burris and Ralph the Dog; municipal officials; and local personalities from the arts and media as they encouraged the value of reading.
