Community Mobile Skateparks ready to roll out

Hit the decks this summer with City of Calgary Recreation Community Mobile Skateparks. From June through August, these skateparks will pop up at communities across the city and are free to skate. Visit for dates and locations, or contact your community association to inquire about skateparks in your community.

Each park has a combination of roll-ins, fun boxes with rails, pyramids with rails, grind boxes, quarter pipes, wall rides and half pipes. During scheduled program hours, qualified City of Calgary staff will be on-hand to supervise.

Skateboarding lessons, day camps, and private birthday parties are all available for extra costs.

In 2011, Community Mobile Skateparks successfully serviced 12 communities with approximately 4,000 participants. With an estimated 30,000 Calgarians participating to some extent in skateboarding, the future looks bright for this fantastic City of Calgary program!
