Norway's flag raised for National Day

The Norway flag will be flown on pole #2 at City Hall on Thursday, May 17, from sunrise to sunset – to commemorate Norway’s National Day.

Norwegian Constitution Day is the National Day of Norway and is an official national holiday observed on May 17 each year. The Constitution of Norway was signed at Eidsvoll on May 17 in the year 1814. The constitution declared Norway to be an independent nation.

The Union Jack will be removed from pole #3 for this day only and will be replaced with the Alberta flag.
