Stuff-a-Bus: Twenty Years of feeding Calgarians one bus at a time

Calgary Transit, Calgary Co-op and XL103 radio host the 20th annual Stuff-a-Bus Food Drive in support of the Calgary Food Bank on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Calgary Transit buses will be ready and waiting at all Calgary Co-op locations on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

“Our volunteer drivers are always eager to help out for this extremely worthwhile cause,” said Calgary Transit spokesman Ron Collins. “Thanks to the generosity of Calgarians the unique Stuff-a-Bus program has raised over $1 million in cash and food donations for the Food Bank.”

“The Calgary Food Bank has learned that when we help people with food once or twice we often don’t see them again, said James McAra, Food Bank CEO. “The Food Bank understands the power of food, and so do our partners.”
