City Matters - Christmas Tree Recycling

Calgarians recycled about 37,500 real Christmas trees last year. It's an easy way to keep a reusable natural resource out of the landfills. If you don't receive black cart garbage collection, or if you weren't able to get your tree out in time for collection (by January 7th) there are options. The City has eight temporary drop-off locations for trees that will be open until January 27th.

Visit calgary.ca/waste for more information and a full list of locations.
