On March 16, Calgarians are invited to attend the project kick-off for the redevelopment of Stanley Park.
This popular, multi-use park has a long history and a place in the hearts of the communities and users it serves. It has become increasingly popular in recent years resulting in greater demands placed on the space.
“Calgary Parks’ goal is to ensure Stanley Park remains valuable for park users today and into the future,” says Keath Parker, Project Lead. “On Saturday, the public can learn how to become involved in this important initiative.”
Project kick-off event:
Date: Saturday, March 16
Time: 1 - 4 p.m.
Location: Stanley Park Administration Building (near lawn bowling club)
The project kick-off event is the first of many opportunities for citizens to get involved.
