Cara is a spayed female Husky mix who is just over 1 year old. Having been here since December, she is the longest resident dog at the Animal Services Centre.
Her buddy River is a neutered male Husky who is just over one and a half years old. Both dogs are looking for families with breed knowledge (Husky), fenced backyards and no small children.
These friendly, high energy pups need active, structured homes – they’d be great jogging buddies or fantastic hiking companions for nature lovers. Both River and Cara would benefit from an obedience class – they have big hearts and love to learn new tricks, but need a little work on their manners.
If you think you can provide a great forever home for Cara or River, drop by the Animal Services Centre during regular business hours. To view pictures of all of our adoptable cats and dogs, please visit calgary.ca/animalservices.
