Flood Recovery - Municipal Complex & Civic Parkade
When flood waters began to rise on June 20 The City of Calgary Corporate Properties & Buildings, like many building owners in the city began preparing for the possiblility of a 100-year flood.
By Friday June 21, seven to 12 feet of water had entered various parts of the Municipal Complex and all seven levels of the Civic Plaza Parkade located beneath the complex filled completely with water. In the six weeks since the flood, Corporate Properties & Buildings and Calgary Parking Authority have been working around the clock to clean up the damage.
