$50 million for pedestrian bridges does not come from The City of Calgary&amp;#39;s operations budget (which is from property taxes).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The $25 million for Peace Bridge comes from MSI funding (read the Peace Bridge story for a link to the province&amp;#39;s MSI finding page). &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The $25 million for the St. Patrick&amp;#39;s Bridge is from long-term property tax revenues for the East Village, which will be handled through Calgary Municipal Land Corporation.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml'
