City announces members of Expert Flood Mitigation Panel

The City of Calgary has established a program to review Calgary’s flood response measures and mitigation efforts and to investigate ways of reducing and managing river flood risks to Calgary in the future.

An expert management panel has been created to employ a wide-ranging process to examine, evaluate and prioritize environmental, infrastructure and policy measures that would significantly reduce the potential harm from floods.

For more information on the panel and its members visit calgary.ca/floodpanel.

  1. And just how much will the city be paying out for this socalled "expert management panel"
    More managers?
Why not take a look at the Provincial Flood Mitigation Report from November 2006, and have the "expert management" team the city already employs
    make things happen?
