Report to Calgarians - Community Investment Fund

The community investment fund gives back to Calgarians through their communities. From 2012 through 2016, $252 million dollars will be spent on useful community improvements. Investing in things like libraries, recreation centres, parks, playgrounds and emergency services all contribute to safe, sustainable and vibrant neighbourhoods for all Calgarians.

It includes projects from every quadrant of the city as well as important partnerships with community associations and social recreation organizations and Civic Partners - all of whom work collaboratively together to make Calgary a great place to live, work and play.

  1. There are lots of benefits to this. If your city blasts Wi-Fi citywide with extremely strong bandwidth you will indeed be promoting tourism, shopping, and dining.
