Fix-a-Leak Week, March 4 – 10

One in four toilets is silently leaking (even new ones, and could be wasting our precious resource and your money. That’s why The City of Calgary wants to remind Calgarians to check for leaks during Fix-a-Leak Week.

Monitoring your home for leaks on a regular basis helps ensure we are all doing our part to conserve water – a precious resource. Participate in Fix-a-Leak-Week from March 4 through 10, by taking the leaky toilet test and fixing any leaks you find.

Did you know:
  • Toilets are the largest users of water in the home.
  • Even new toilets can leak.
  • Fixing any leaks not only saves water but it will save you money – fixing one leaky toilet could save you $100 a year.
From now until March 10 we’re giving away a $500 gift card to use towards water conservation products at RONA! To enter simply visit Calgary.ca/leakytoilet and click on the contest entry link.
