Rocky's adoption story

Rocky's favourite spot
Rocky was adopted during the Super Summer Furry Fun Fest adoption promotion in August, 2012.

His mother was a stray brought in to Animal Services already pregnant, and he was born at the shelter. One of the Animal Health Technologists brought Rocky and his littermates home and fostered them until they were ready to be adopted.

It didn’t take Rocky long to adapt to his new home after we adopted him and now his favourite place is on my lap, or on my desk watching me type. And he finds the fridge irresistible!

He is never happier than when the household wakes up in the morning. Our family wanted to thank Lisa and all the other employees at the Animal Services Centre that weekend for doing a fine job, and loving these animals as much as we do!

He’s the perfect pet for us.

Sincerely, Terri and Paul
