Neighbour Day block parties - apply now!

On Saturday June 21, 2014, join your fellow Calgarians for Neighbour Day, to celebrate the spirit of Calgary and the remarkable outpouring of kindness, help and citizenship displayed during last year’s flood.

The City of Calgary has a number of tools and resources available to citizens and communities for planning their own Neighbour Day celebrations. It can be as simple as just introducing yourself, giving someone a hand with a project, or even helping throw a block party with neighbours.

This year, we are waiving the permitting fees for block parties and park venues for Neighbour Day events held on June 21. But remember, time is running out! Neighbour Day applications must be in by Friday, June 13, 2014 to take advantage of these incentives.

Get started now.
